PAYMENT OF SALARIES, WAGES AND COMMISSION MUST BE ON TIME FOR A VERY SIMPLE REASON, YOUR EMPLOYEES WORK TO SUPPORT HIMSELF/HERSELF AND THEIR FAMILIES. DELAYED PAYMENT MEANS DEPRIVING THE BASIC RIGHT OF YOUR EMPLOYEES. THE VERY REASON WHY THEY ARE WORKING. BELIEVE IT OR NOT, IN THE PHILIPPINES THERE ARE CERTAIN TYPE OF EMPLOYEES WHOSE SALARIES ARE DELAYED FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS. I HOPE THAT THE DILEMMA OF CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES IN THE PHILIPPINES WILL NOT HAPPEN IN YOUR COUNTRY. AS AN EYE OPENER, AT THE BOTTOM IS AN ORDINANCE IN HONGKONG PENALIZING EMPLOYER DELAYING THE SALARIES OF THEIR EMPLOYEES.
