I PROMISE TO WASH MY HANDS WITH SOAP AND WATER

Students from R. L. Pascual Elementary School, Quezon City, Philippines were taught about the importance of keeping themselves clean and healthy by properly washing their hands with soap and water. Some says that hand washing is like a "do-it-yourself" vaccine. RAISE a HAND for HYGIENE! is a fitting slogan. Every OCTOBER 15, is a GLOBAL HAND WASHING DAY! Hand washing is not only for children or students it is for all. Always keep our hands clean. It is participated by students, local and national leaders, international communities and advocates from social media, Personal hygiene is a pillar of international development and public health, Let us join the fun, raise our clean hands and start a healthy family that grows into a healthy communities, towns and cities.                            TODAY, I PROMISED TO WASH MY HANDS! WILL YOU?

SIMPLEST WAY TO MAKE EVERYBODY HEALTHY

OCTOBER IS NOT AN ORDINARY MONTH FOR ALL OF US AND FOR THE REST OF PEOPLE IN OUR ENTIRE UNIVERSE. OCTOBER IS A GLOBAL HAND WASHING MONTH.  WHAT MAKES THIS CELEBRATION SO SPECIAL? HAND WASHING DAY WITH WATER AND SOAP IS THE SIMPLEST FORM YET SO EFFECTIVE TO COMBAT ALL SORT OF GERMS BEFORE IT PENETRATES IN OUR BODY SYSTEM.  PICTURE BELOW IS A SIMPLE MOVABLE HAND WASHING LAVATORY WHERE STUDENTS OF R. L.  PASCUAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IN BARANGAY BAESA, QUEZON CITY PHILIPPINES WASHED THEIR HANDS BEFORE AND AFTER HANDLING THEIR FOODS. THE HAND WASHING PROGRAM IS LONG TIME RUNNING IN THE PROVINCES. NOW IT IS BEING IMPLEMENTED IN METRO MANILA BY THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, NGO',S, AND CONCERNED CORPORATIONS (THRU THEIR CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY). QUEZON CITY IS AMONG THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT IN METRO MANILA IF NOT THE FIRST WHICH ADOPTED THE PROGRAM. BUT THROUGH THE "ESSENTIAL HEALTH CARE ORDINANCE" FILED BY COUNCILOR JULIENNE
