While the Country, to be more exact and specific Quezon City was pounded by heavy rains and most of its parts were flooded, the Quezon City Sangguniang Panglunsod Launched another worthwhile and commendable Ordinance that seeks to be the Intellectual Capital of the country. The proposed ordinance, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE QUEZON CITY POST-GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR DESERVING STUDENTS DOMICILED WITHIN THE CITY AND PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE." was confirmed by the 18th City Council and now a local law of the city. The said measure was sponsored by the Chairperson of the Comittee on Education, Science and Technology, Councilor JULIENNE ALYSON RAE V. MEDALLA who dreamed that her beloved City becomes the Knowledge Capital of the Country. .
