Reconciliation is one of the oldest and grandest theme of Christmas. We are quick to forget a lot of things, but not the person, who maligned us, destroyed our reputation and even endanger our future. We hide and keep this feelings for a long period of time. How many Christmas and New Years have come and gone? But still, we are prisoner of that anger. I agree with you that forgiving someone is not easy to do. Yet we ought to forgive them irrespective of the damage they cause in our lives. Scripture says; "To err is human but to forgive is divine." Do you know that cow like human also nurture grudges for months and even years? But the good thing, they were able to forget it.
