Former President Ferdinand Marcos died in Honolulu on the morning of September 28, 1989. He died at the age of 72. He ruled the Philippines for 20 years until he was ousted in 1986 EDSA Revolution. President Bush, praised Marcos graceful exit from power. By leaving the Philippines, according to him, Marcos, permitted the peaceful transition of the government to a popular democratic rule. Marcos sins and misdoings for the country was never been erased in the minds of the human right victims until this day. Maraming mga taon ang lumipas at ilang beses na nagpalit ng Pangulo ang ating bansa subalit hanggang sa ngayon ay hindi pa rin nabibigyan ng marang libing ang dating Pangulo ng Pilipinas na tinagurin ding, "Strong Man". Nais ng Pamilyang Marcos na mailibing ang kanilang "Patriarch" sa Libingan ng mga Bayani. Bagama't nais nang wakasan ng kasalukuyang Rodrigo Roa Duterte ang usaping ito sa kanyang pagpayag na ilibing na si dating Pangulong Ferdinan
