QC POST-GRAD SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

While the Country, to be more exact and specific Quezon City  was pounded by heavy rains and most of its parts were flooded, the Quezon City Sangguniang Panglunsod Launched another worthwhile and commendable Ordinance that seeks to be the Intellectual Capital of the country.

The proposed ordinance, "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE QUEZON CITY POST-GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR DESERVING STUDENTS DOMICILED WITHIN THE CITY AND PROVIDING FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE." was confirmed by the 18th City Council. 

The said measure was sponsored by the Chairperson of the Comittee on Education, Science and Technology, Councilor JULIENNE ALYSON RAE V. MEDALLA who dreamed that her beloved City becomes the Knowledge Capital of the Country..

Deserving and qualified students domiciled in the city for at least three (3) years may inquire at Scholarship Youth Development Program (SYDP) the lead office tasked to implement the said program..

I trust that through this program the city can develop experts in Urban Planning, Risk Management and the so-called Green Building.
