"PAY LESS ATTENTION..."

When I do something or say something I always think of how other people will say or react to it. Maybe I am afraid of what people may say about me. Yes, I pay much attention to what they say. This is the reason why I can't do something that I really want to do. There are times that I feel bolder do and say some stupid things but you can count it in your fingers. I was so afraid to hurt other feelings and emotions. As much as possible I remain calm and diplomatic. Some observation from my experience is that other people don't care what they do or say and I found myself victim of their harsh words and nonconstructive criticism. I believe you experienced this too. Here comes Yvonne Rice,  who  said,   ‎"Pay less attention to what people say and think about you and more attention to what you think and say , about yourself—this is the beginning of self-awareness and the doorway to your happiness." If Yvonne is right by saying this, then the realization

PERSONAL REFLECTION

For your personal reflection this Lenten Season I brought to life this quotation taken from the Soul-Mate.       ‎ "It’s not what happens in life that determines your circumstances and where you are now. Bad things happen to all of us. What matters is the actions you take - blaming others for your misfortunes, will keep you in misery. Be responsible for your life; think how to change the situation to benefit you. It’s the first step to climbing out of that hole into a much brighter future"  The first sentence from this quotation says, "It is not what happens in life that determines your circumstances and where are you now."  I totally agree with this, and yes all sort of bad things happens to us but what is important as the Soul-mate says is the action you take that will determine where you are at right now. Blaming others for our misfortunes  is not the right thing to do and keeping that in your heart for a longer period of time will leads to further miser

MOTHER

M - O - T - H - E - R M      -     is for million things she gave me. O    -   means only that she is growing old. T      -      is for the tears she shed to save me. H   -    is for her heart of gold. E    -    is for her eyes with love light shining in them. R    -    means right and right she'll always be. PUT THEM TOGETHER, THEY SPELL "MOTHER" A WORD THAT MEANS THE WHOLE WORLD TO ME. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE LUCKY TO BE STILL BLESSED WITH YOUR MOM'S PRESENCE ON EARTH THIS STORY IS BEAUTIFUL. FOR THOSE WHO AREN'T SO BLESSED THIS IS EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL.

EIGHT LIES OF A MOTHER

This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor. Often we hadn't enough to eat. Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion of rice. While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say 'Eat this rice, son! I'm not hungry.' This was Mother's First Lie. As I grew, Mother gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that from the fish she caught, she could give me a little bit more nutritious food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fish, she would make fish soup. While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat the what was still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten, My heart was touched when I saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she immediately refused it and said, 'Eat this fish, son! I don't really like fish.' This was Mother's Second Lie. Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring home some used match

THE MOST POWERFUL MEDICINE (demo video supplied)

Even before the invention of synthetic medicines, organic and alternative medicines has been practiced by man from generation after generation. 1.ALTERNATIVE MEDICINES Alternative medicine is a term that describes methods and practices used in place of conventional medical treatments. Many people use alternative medicines in addition with conventional medicines to complement them. ACUPUNCTURE:  It is one of the most widely used alternative medicine treatments, which involves the use of fine needles. Specific points on the body are stimulated by inserting very fine needles into the skin and underlying tissues during acupuncture. In some cases additional stimulation is added by warming the needle or with a very low voltage electrical current.  The flow of energy cannot be blocked or suppressed and must be redirected. Stimulating these specific points is believed to unblock the flow of energy. Though this procedure is not painful but it may cause a tingling sensation

KINDNESS COSTS NOTHING

This simple life quotation taken from the soul-mate, Yvonne Rice is a very simple down to earth advise that we need to understand and carefully follow because it will leads us to know ourselves  better much more the other person. "Never look down on anyone in life unless you are giving them your hand to help them up. Everyone in life has a story and if you take the time to listen, you can learn much about yourself. Kindness costs nothing however, a simple kind act - can leave a profound effect and be the turning point in someone else life" Sometimes unknowingly we are not careful about words that we says and incidentally we cause someone to stumble and feel hurts. But other people do it out of arrogance. But then again reflect on this, "kindness costs nothing" and a "simple act of kindness" can lead to a profound effect and be the turning point in someone else life.

RESPECT EVERY CENTS

A PROMISING COUNCILOR FROM DISTRICT II IN THE NAME OF COUNCILOR JULIENNE ALYSON RAE V. MEDALLA FILED AN ORDINANCE MANDATING ALL BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENTS IN QUEZON CITY TO GIVE THE EXACT AMOUNT OF CHANGE TO ALL CONSUMERS. THE SAID PROPOSED CITY ORDINANCE WILL NOT ONLY PROTECT EVERY CONSUMERS TO RECEIVE THE EXACT CHANGE IN THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES THAT THEY PURCHASED BUT ALSO GIVING THEM A SENSE OF RESPECT TO EVERY SINGLE CENTAVOS. THE PROPOSED  CITY ORDINANCE OF THE SAID YOUNG BUT DYNAMIC QUEZON CITY LADY COUNCILOR FONDLY CALLED "ALY" BY HER FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS IS VERY TIMELY AND IMPORTANT. AT FIRST, I WAS NOT ABLE TO APPRECIATE ITS IMPORTANCE UNTIL ONE TIME I READ SOMEONE'S LETTER ADDRESS TO CONSUMERLINE OF CHING  M. ALANO,  PHILIPPINE STAR RESIDENT COLUMNIST  DATED APRIL 12, 2011. THIS IS THE EXACT LETTER OF A CONCERNED CITIZEN. DEAR CONSUMERLINE: ABOUT A YEAR AGO, I WROTE YOU ABOUT AN EXPERIENCE I HAD WITH A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT, WHERE THEY DID NOT GIVE ME THE
