Last night, after so long, I had opportunity to open the pages of my Bible and landed in the book of Genesis. I want to share with you today is the story which I read and it is somewhat like the famous "ALDUB FEVER", a "A Kalye Serye" of Eat Bulaga. A story of modern day romance that makes us titillate and even jump for joy.

Jacob, the son of Isaac is about to find a wife and was advised by his father to go to a "Paddan-aram" and there he will find his wife.

The first encounter between Jacob and Rachel was "Love At First Sight" this is what we called today. When Jacob see Rachel, he came near to her rolled over the stone covering the mouth of the well and watered her flocks then kneel-down and kissed her.

Jacob loves so much Rachel and served Laban, the father of Rachel for seven years in exchange of Rachel. At this point, let us make our imagination works and picture out when "Alden Richards poured water into the water tank as agreed upon by him and "lola nidora" with these famous lines - "ang tunay na pag-ibig pinaghihirapan"

After completing the long seven years of hard work, Jacob went to his supposed father-in-law to marry Rachel. But Laban deceived Jacob and give Leah instead. It was too late for Jacob to recognize the woman he was lying with.

He confronted his father-in-law about the deception. Laban explained that it is not their custom to give the younger before the first born.
